Join the 2026 Camplight Crew
We are looking to grow our team of eco-warriors who are passionate about tent saving and festivals to bring good vibes and dedication to our community. The role includes attending UK festivals to set up, run, and pack down our campsites of pre-pitched tents for customers.
The application form will be live soon, keep an eye out on this page, our socials, and your email (if you are on the mailing list or are existing crew)

THE 2026 FESTIVALS:
We are sending crews of eco-warriors the following festivals.
* World Yoga Festival
* Green Gathering
* Boomtown
* Medicine Festival
* Shambala
* Green Belt
Please note, as Boomtown and Shambala are our most popular, and often over-subscribed festivals; therefore, we only send existing, more experienced crew to these festivals. If you are an existing crew member – check your emails for the Existing Crew 2026 Application Form when it’s released in mid February.
- Entry to the festival
- Meals provided (3 meals a day during the build and break, and 2 meals provided during the live show)
- Camping with the Camplight Crew – a friendly, inclusive crew with great vibes
- Subsistence payments towards travel: 25p/mile for car share, 35p/mile van share, 45p/mile trailer share, expenses up to £50 covered for public transport to/from events
- We require all new crew to have completed one of our tent training days. These training days are unpaid but crucial in setting you up for the season.
4a. For those who apply before Sunday 15th March at 6pm: We will contact you at the end of March regarding invitations to tent training and notice of which festivals you are being considered for.
5. Following an invite, you will need to attend tent training
6. Upon completion of tent training, we will send out invitations to join selected festival crews
- The hourly rate is £13/hour.
- First, you pay off the price of your festival ticket. For example, if the price of the ticket is £130, you would work the first 10 hours to pay this off and then each hour following this you record on your time sheet and invoice us following the festival.
- You will work in exchange for your festival ticket. This is an unpaid role.
- You will work for the set up and pack down and have the show off
- You will not need to pay off the price of your festival ticket
- (please note, there are a very very limited number of these positions and they are only available to experienced crew)
- Once we have offered you a position (for either voluntary or paid roles), we will then ask you for a deposit of £125 which must be paid within 7 days upon receiving the offer to secure your place. For new crew, this will be following tent training.
- This deposit is transferable across festivals, so you do not need to pay a deposit for each individual festival. We hope that this will help break down the financial barriers to access when joining our crew.
- If you are not in a financial position to pay this deposit, don’t worry! We believe in breaking down barriers to access and have some alternative other options that can be discussed on a 1-1 basis, such as paying in instalments or doing a bit of pre-site work at one of our stores instead – just email Georgie at crew@camplight.co.uk to enquire
- We will start sending out offers following tent training. We hope this enables enough time for you to put some money aside to cover the deposit.
- At the end of the summer season, upon completion of your 2026 work with us, you will receive a full refund of your deposit.
